Friday 4th BISTRO NITE
Sunday 6th - Children's Bird and Nest Day at the NT Lydford Gorge 12 noon- 4pm Construct a giant nest, build a bird box (£4 extra), make masks and finger puppets. Find out about and spot the birds that live at the gorge. Learn how you can encourage birds into your garden at home. Suitable for children aged 4+. £NT + £1.50 per child.
Tuesday 8th - Annual Parish Meeting
7pm.
Sunday 20th - April Family Woodland Sculpture Day 12 noon-3.30pm
Create a woodland sculpture using pieces of wood, your imagination and basic hand tools. Suitable for children aged 7+. £NT + £2 per sculpture.
ROGATION SUNDAY 27th April. This year will be at Downtown Farm at the invitation of Guy and Ellie Leigh-Tyrer. The service will be 'child friendly' (like the venue) and afterwards there will be refreshments - simple, probably a pasty and a cup of tea or coffee and squash for the children.

gardens. Entry to include all gardens £3.50.*
Saturday 3rd May - Plant Fair 11am-4pm A wide selection of plants for sale in the orchard. Advice on composting and recycling garden waste. Candle rolling for children. £NT + £1 per candle.

Flower arranging workshop 10.00 am – 4.00 pm. A course run by Adult and Community Learning. For details contact Mandy on 01837 659436 (or see notice board).
Saturday 10th -
Jumble Sale in aid of Cats Protection.

Friday 13th June. Canticorum Concert in Lydford Church, under the conductorship of Ian Hardy. Again more details nearer the time.
August 2008
Saturday 16th - The Flower and Produce Show is scheduled for Saturday 16th August in the Nicholls Hall. There will be the usual vegetable, flower, craft and produce categories for children and adults, so think about your entries now when you plan your season’s vegetables and flowers.
October 2008
Sat 11th, Sun 12th and Mon 13th October A Quilt Exhibition in the Nicholls Hall.*
December 2008
December date to be decided Christmas Tree Festival in the church.*
